Meanwhile, we'll never know what Manahan was planning (aside from reviving Shandra) and he'll once again be stuck...drifting in oblivion for all eternity.
Sadge, seemed like it would have been a decent story line.

Guys... i think we won!
Explain how we won.
Hopefully you guys can fight chargebacks, but Gameforge thought about that and extended their closure date to counter parts of that
Korea announced at the same time this morning that they were closing on the 30th as well. But continue wearing your tinfoil hat.
Yes GameForge was scummy to milk this, and yes, I'm sure they knew sooner than most; I'd even bet Japan knew this and wanted to save their players the trouble of riding it out, but I highly doubt they 'extended the time' when Korea announced the exact same date.
Due to TERA shut downs give us some events pls
IDK. Easy enchanting or whatewer, world events for example
Just some fun before history of TERA ends up
That's what the "Unannounced Events" was for on the event calendar, pretty sure.
However I do have to agree with the timing being horrid. This is completely unnecessary to schedule this during the time people are going to be at work, physically or working-from-home. They can easily change this time, and I hope they would. They easily could have made it during the weekend, extend it two days into July, and ta-da, more people could be around for it.
I hope all the Negative Nancies who screamed "Shut down TERA" are happy. I am not. Thanks.
Japan might have had news from BHS they were gonna stop producing TERA, so they shut down in advance.
Shame we're 2 months after the fact, but also too convenient.
For GameForge's consideration (should we actually live to see another rotation of Rootstock and Pond Faire), please include the Fall Festival Tokens next time. They were created specifically for the event, and all you can say is "these tokens weren't meant for our version of the game" and "will not support them in this event", but it's literally part of the event and you've sucked out every bit of fun in order to have players swipe for the Easter Event instead. Meanwhile those of us doing the quests for Rootstock get 50 silver and XP. That's our "fun".
Reference; Event: Colorful Egg Scramble
I find it dumb that the token that would normally be with Rootstock and Pond Faire isn't included and is intended to expire and is intentionally being left out as part of the event.
So what's the actual point of doing the event? We can make most of the foods from Rootstock under Crafting as better versions than what Rootstock offers. Sure, you could argue that this is for people who don't have the materials for the cooking crafting, but they're easy to obtain. You could argue it's for food we can't craft under Crafting, but a lot of these we can buy somewhere in-game with Tokens or something.
Rootstock is supposed to be about having fun, but what's the point of doing the event if all we get is 50 silver and some experience? Where's the fun? Why can't we have these afros and special event-based mounts? Because they're not supposed to be part of the event they were made for? Make it make sense, and please reconsider this with the team threea.
Reference; Events: April
Update: GameForge is adamant in not allowing the tokens to be active, as Support shared that they confirmed the team had no plans of including the Tokens to begin with.
Way to ruin an event, guys. No point in participating, so I won't. But hey, who cares when you're making money off the Easter Event, am I right? ![]()
threea In the Fall Festival Token shop, the only two items we can claim are the Elixir and Superior Noctenium Elixir. The rest are expired and need their duration reset.
EDIT: Now the tokens themselves are expired and need to be renewed.
Tera Classic Server Poll and Discussion (Consolidated)
Above post will provide a reason why they're very unlikely to do this.
It's been at the bottom of the post, unless you meant to link to a different one.
You can still technically get into a dungeon without meeting the ilvl and still get the debuff, but the debuff isn't worth running the dungeon anyways. You lose basically half your Amplification and Resistance to Phys and Magical attacks.
It's completely irrelevant that GameForge enforces the iLvl upon queuing (vs Ktera) because you're losing half your attack and defense type-base (Phys and Magic) by entering without meeting the requirements, so it's actually a good thing that they don't let a noob who forgot to re-equip a gear piece to jump into a dungeon and get slaughtered or make a long dungeon run for the entire group on a whim, like with previous patches where you could queue even if you weren't fully leveled for the dungeon.
The news post says 40%, but the event calendar says 30%. Can you clarify which is in error, threea ? Thanks.
I'm not sure who you're trying to troll and think we're idiots, but you edited your own post...twice.
If referring to;
Good old fashioned steam charts excuses. It's not like if steam charts numbers are lower than ever it also means that tera launcher numbers are lower than ever. At this point one would expect that everyone knows it, but nope it still needs to be said and explained. Best thing about little defenders like this one is that once closure gets announced, they will be nowhere to be seen.
"defender" lol you need to get around the forum more.
Secondly, I take it back, the moronic part does include mostly you.
I have friends who have spent hundreds of dollars on Steam, just to disappear for years. That doesn't mean they aren't playing the same game outside of Steam when it's multi-platform. Steam numbers do not correlate in any way to launcher numbers, and I even admitted the numbers are low. Maybe get some reading glasses or something?
Does all of it even matter, looking at steam charts i will be surprised if this game even makes it out of 2022 without closing.
The biggest issue with this is everyone has relied on Steam Charts, which doesn't even make up for half of the player base since the launch on Steam, and for 4+ years now everyone's said "ded game lul" like...Steam Charts isn't anything to go off, and if you solely go off those numbers when any game has a multi-platform hosting method, you're moronic. (In general, not just you specifically.)
The launchers (EME at the time and GF now) aren't taken into account as they should be, and we frankly don't have numbers and haven't the entire time someone's screamed into the void "ded game" but we are getting pretty close with the way GameForge has mismanaged the game.
Don't worry, Support just wants us to block them and "it's done! You'll no longer see messages from this person".
Completely overlooking the fact that an exploit is being used, not wanting to record it, and ship it off to BHS. ![]()
Join any LFG or browse moongourd. I am not going to prove to you that the sky is blue.
If you like to suffer through instance matching that's fine, but don't call these groups average. Most players who use instance matching are exceptionally bad.
This right here is part of the problem.
What happened to wanting to teach people? Instead of sitting here complaining "bad players" how about you actually bother teaching them, which I can 100% guarantee you don't give a rat's ass to try to do.
Instead of helping the problem of "bad players" you're just sitting here whining. Keep whining, don't provide any assistance to new people, that's totally the way we're going to solve the problem.
I'm going to just call you bad in general, cause you really are and it shows from this statement. Not a bad player, not bad in-game, just bad in general. Yeesh. Get the stick out your butt and maybe you'll see things differently other than "exceptionally bad players I want nothing to do with".
Yes there will be those that will beg to do things their own way, but as one of those people who used to sit here and have to solo IM in order to learn, and then get kicked for "not doing enough damage" or "sucking", you're part of the problem and why the game is where it is, and why people are constantly using LFG and Global to look for Ice Throne queues and not finding enough to their liking; because you can't be willing to extend a helping hand to help people learn.

This is to bring attention to just how much at this point in the game we're outdated on so many items or shops, and how they should be (in my opinion) updated. Changed loot will be bolded, whether new items entirely or just the amount. To say this patch that these are 'updated' like you do with Banyaka's Treasure box is absolute bullocks unless you have BlueHole in your ear threatening to revoke your license for publishing the game if you update the loot when you know you have had multiple people message you complaining about it in Support Tickets, and making multiple posts and threads here in the forum.
Updated Loot should be;
Reason for change -- This is set to help people upgrade Mahtnan gear. That gear is far behind Frost Flower. To give them to TERA Club members is a slap in the face. You upgraded the drops from the actual Chest in Ghillieglade, so the question remains why you tell us that the content isn't outdated, when it literally is. We're not mindless zombies or idiots. We know when we're getting screwed over by your inane decisions. The increase to Superior Noctenium Refiner is simple. 1 isn't nearly enough, especially when we sit here given (actively as of this post) 3 different type of Noctenium Infusions, rather than changing them all to be the normal Infusions. You cannot use a combination of the three different ones to make Nocteniums. I would almost just crap Noctenium entirely from the drop rate and say we are owed Strong Braveries back, because god forbid a 2% difference in Skill Damage is "broken" but we can have items way more powerful than that. Make it make sense, guys. The Noctenium Refiners can be found in the Vanguard Merchant for 300 Credits, so by all means they're not actually fully necessary in the box. The Rubies is to give a small reward for being a Club Member. You never know when you might need the extra 1,000 gold. Plus after all the useless crap you give us like the Ash and Jewels, etc. and we can only sell them for 10 Bronze (10 Silver on Ash), you owe us big time.
Reason for changes -- The scale shop has been the same for ages, and the fact we don't get double vanguards as a permanent thing (which should be a thing for this patch, at least) is stale to say the least, and that's an understatement. The chances of getting a dragon skill (either Flying Skill: Red Dragon or Flying Skill: Steel Dragon) instead of Piece of Dragon Scroll is so abysmal that in my entire time of playing (several years) and thousands of scales put into the shop, not once have I received them instead of Piece of Dragon Scroll, nor do I know of anyone personally who has gotten it from the exchange either, so the high price of 10 scales is ridiculous, especially when you need 40 Pieces of Dragon Scrolls just to get the Steel Dragon (never let you choose between Red or Steel, which I think was always a stupid thing. If you put the grind into it, you should be able to choose between the two, especially if you already have one), which is a heavy investment that doesn't really pay off in the end. The rest are simple; For one, I don't know anyone who's constantly resetting their EP or find a need to reset them constantly each patch, so why are the reset potions so high, especially when you get given (if I recall) almost 10 from leveling up a character? The need for them is so low, why have it at a high price? For two, you can buy and craft Braveries, and for the Potions, you can easily craft those as well. No need to have them at 10 each.
IF for any reason the prices should stay the same, Piece of Dragon should be transformed into it's own shop and then let people pick from a variety of dragons, not just Steel Dragon.
Reason for Changes -- I suggested increasing the Refinement tool and Spinning Wheel by 10 simply because with this suggested table, Darkyarn would be available from the shop, rather than having to be just a Cash shop item in the Tikat Shop. This is also why Darkyarn is higher than anything in the shop. There's no real way to grind Goldfinger Tokens effectively, so this helps balance the grind with the rewards for doing so with these two. I reduced the Seam Ripper due to the Exodor and the normal Laundry Baskets being reduced, simply because of the amount of underwear it would take to form an Exodor Innerwear, and even then, the Laundry Basket is heavily outdated with low-end innerwear, and Exodor Laundry Basket more-so, and it's 30 Tokens higher in the current shop than the Laundry Basket is. When it's possibly dropping things like the Elegant series Linen, the Noble Linen Underwear series, and the Quality Active Underwear series, which are outdated by miles, there's no sense in having the Exodor Laundry Basket be as expensive as it is. Same applies to the Laundry Basket, a ton of out-dated innerwear that has no business being worth 50 Tokens. As mentioned previously, I added Darkyarn as an item in the shop because the Textile Refinement and Spinning Wheel items require it, and it makes no sense to block those items out from people who don't want to pay cash for the Darkyarn, which is ridiculously priced in the Tikat Shop at 7,500 Tikats. (More on Tikat's Shop later.)
Reason for changes -- From what I am aware, the Comet Shop hasn't been updated since release. With Open Secret and Dark Secret still providing Mahtnan-patch content, their prices should be lowered, seeing as we're apparently not going to see a disappearance of Mahtnan materials for a while, according to you guys. Inventory Expansion is reduced because the amount of Tokens you get in a day aren't worth it. Star Trace was similarly reduced because of Mahtnan gear items. Even with the gear replaced, these prices are reasonable, given that you don't load up the Secrets with absolute junk, wasting people's time.
Reason for Changes -- Adding cosmetic items that haven't been around for a while would encourage people to 'have fun' again, growing 3 times in size or shrinking 3 times in size, etc. Obviously since we have Sky Lotus in there, might as well add Vitality Fragments and the Pollen, as well as the Stamina Seal in there. I only added Stamina (and at a higher price) because you can convert to the next item, Victory Glyph, with enough. Changed all the food items to non-event items to make it easier on staff to not have to re-add or reset the timer for the items in-game, plus not take up extra inventory or bank space. Finally, reduced the Health Potion just because it's...not necessary to have it at 10? The trade-able ones can be crafted. 10 Marks isn't worth it.
In regards to Dungeon Loot, it's awful for people to level up. I understand if the idea from BHS was to make enchantment material "more valuable" but in reality they've made it scarce, and even with the Double-Vanguard event, it wasn't worth putting effort into grinding just for double Main-materials (as the extra loot they've added on, such as Vitality Fragments, second Frost Flower and Second Stamina Seals and Victory Glyphs, etc aren't doubled when it's active cause they're considered 'extra loot') because it sucks. When we had Dark Shard issues, we had a "guaranteed loot drop" and that's what we need for Vitality Fragments and the Glyphs and Seals. They are the cause of most of the bottleneck of enchanting, meanwhile everyone should basically have Precious Sky Lotus up the wazoo.
The fact that I even bother to make a post like this (and like this one here that I was told the Community Managers would comment on by Support and they didn't) should show how much you guys are ignoring the community and showing us that you just aren't giving a flying fahootie in the blowfish about the state of the game, or the community. This isn't even on top of the fact you've ignored SEA's growing issues for months now. If you were looking to find a way to save money by killing a region, then congrats, you guys are smart. Otherwise, if this wasn't your intention, then good lord who do we have to talk to above the Community Managers (like the Product Manager) in order to help them understand that the lack of action on their part is literally killing a whole region??
And no, we will not stop bringing up Banyaka's Box because it's paid for, and we're given the middle finger. Until it stops, it will continue to be mentioned.
I didn't think GameForge would get this bad, and I've been positive since Day 1 despite what everyone else has said. You literally don't try to promote the game or bring back players, and you have games like Elden Ring literally dragging even more players away while they do end-game AFKing in Highwatch. (I don't even mention Velika anymore because Channel 1 has even lost a majority of it's AFKers, and that's a bad sign.
P.S: I posted this in English/Europe instead of America cause it looks like NA's forum is getting neglected the few times staff are posting on the forums now, so here I am.
Sheesh.
You mean you guys aren't getting forcibly disconnected in Channel 1 of every major city every 5 minutes or less by either;
A.) Duping exploits
or
B.) Block-Spam Mechs being abused?
Lucky. I'd take high ping over being forcibly client-crashed less than every 5 minutes and dealing with a racist, homophobic, tyrant screaming about his rants in Global on the side and GameForge not doing anything about either of these things.
